The Reddrop Group firmly believes that you give back to the hand that feeds you; therefore, we have always been committed to support community organisations, events and its people. From sausage sizzles to club sponsorships, each store is an active participant in its community. In addition, our people are members of the CFA, hospital auxiliaries, footy clubs, etc. We live and contribute back to the communities we work in.

PARTNER ORGANISATION SKYLINE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

We believe one of the best ways to protect our future is to enable its leaders.  As such we have made it a priority to give local teenagers empowerment pathways to own their future. We support youth in the work place with apprenticeships and placements, in addition to sponsoring programs at our local schools . We are also an active patron of the Skyline Foundation which provides intensive support to students, who demonstrate high resilience, to reach their full potential and become positive members of their communities.

PARTNER ORGANISATION IGNITING CHANGE

The Reddrop Group is a proud supporter of Igniting Change.

Together with Igniting Change the Reddrop Group are delivering essential food items to local communities experiencing severe hardship due to Covid-19. Many of these people receiving the packages haven’t eaten for days, their electricity has been disconnected and/or are unable to afford their medication. These are people who are isolated, facing language barriers and lack of community. They are proud and don’t want to be a burden and ask for help, but in situations such as the one we are in now, help is the only way they can survive.

Since September 2021 more than 1,000 care packs have been delivered to communities in Victoria. You can help support the local community by purchasing an Igniting Change care pack through the link below. Every cent you spend goes towards the pack. There are no overheads or administration costs.

GET COOKING

In conjunction with Alexandra CWA and Alexandra FoodWorks we have started a healthy cooking night run by our resident chef of the Reddrop Group, Brett May. It is all about teaching families to cook healthy at a reasonable price with nutritious fresh food.

If you are interested in running a similar program in one of our local communities contact askthechef@reddrop.com.au.
